| Founded in 1983 as Law Office Service, Inc. (a.k.a. LOS, Inc.), we’ve been in the billing business since day one. The founder, Dan Vredenburg, was a court administrator in Arizona and Colorado after graduating from Denver University’s School of Law. While working in Colorado he taught classes at DU and it was here that he continually found himself telling students that there was no such thing as an office administrator in the small and medium sized law firm.
Realizing there was an opportunity to help the legal community with this important business function he started the company and began recruiting clients. Less than a year later he brought on a partner, Michele Levitt, to run all of the day-to-day operations of the business and they then moved the entire operation to Golden, Colorado. Over the course of the last twenty years, Dan has continued to focus on building and servicing the client base while Michele has continued to expand and improve the operational, financial and human resource functions of the business.
In 1987, DGI Products & Services was created to market and sell the SimplyTime line of timekeeping pads with Michele acting as President and leading the product development effort.
Today the businesses have twelve employees, nine of whom are located at the company headquarters on Eighth Street in Golden. In 2003 the name was changed to BillingLogic, Inc. to reflect our expanding service offering and client base diversity. We look forward to working with you.
